Admission criteria/ prerequisite (for the citizens of Georgia):
The students are enrolled on the bachelor programs on the basis of the results of the national entrance exams or on the basis of the decree  №224/ნ  (December 29, 2011) of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, on the basis of  the administrative registration and the decree of the Rector.

Admission criteria/ prerequisites (for the foreign country citizens):
Foreign entrants who completed secondary education abroad or got the education equivalent to it, or/and completed the last two years of secondary education  abroad , or students, who lived abroad during last two or more years and studied abroad in higher educational institutions accredited in compliance with the  legislation of the host country can be  enrolled in the program without taking national entrance exams on the basis of the decree № 224 / ნ  (December 29, 2011)  of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia. If the entrants don’t have English language Certificate FCE (First Certificate in English) the language competence (B2 – Intermediate )  is proved on the basis of the University exam in English with the minimal passing rate 60%.

    · Broad knowledge of the main features, principles and institutions of the national legal system; · Deep knowledge of public, private, criminal or international law; · Realized the essence of the law and the importance of the fundamental principles of the law for the formation of the legal system; · Knowledge of definition methods; · Knowledge of state organization and local self-government issues; · Knowledge of basic human rights and freedoms; · Knowledge of the basic principles of international public law; · Knowledge of contractual and legally binding relations; · Knowledge of property law; · Realized the essence and principles of administrative law; · Knowledge of the essence, types and features of criminal liability; · Knowledge of civil proceedings; · Knowledge of administrative proceedings; · Knowledge of criminal proceedings; · Knowledge of the sources of Georgian law.

    Skills

    · Apply the acquired abstract knowledge and skills to the practical situation, use the knowledge to identify specific problems; · The ability to search for relevant regulatory norms of a legal life case, its definition (For example, grammatical i.e. word-by-word, systematic, historical, objective-teleological methods) and, on the basis of this, the ability to solve the case in a legally correct manner; · Ability to interpret and apply the legal act regulating a specific relationship; · Ability to work with, draft, amend and interpret legal documentation based on predetermined instructions (for example: contract, lawsuit, statement of defence, complaint, court decision, petition); · On the basis of predetermined guidelines, the ability to provide legal consultations to citizens to protect client’s right that is violated or controversial.

    · Ability to draw a legal conclusion on the problem based on the definition of the normative bases and critical analysis; · Based on the analysis of information with legal significance, the ability to formulate a thesis for its solution, taking into account a multifaceted view of the problem, and to argue the chosen position; · Ability to discuss and critically evaluate problematic issues of practice; · Ability to find, interpret, critically analyze, and draw evidence-based conclusions from data, norms, and information necessary to solve problems; · The ability of legal analysis of individual legal institutions in continental European and Anglo-American legal system countries and their comparison with the national system. · Ability to convey and argue legal ideas, problems and conclusions in native and English, both verbally and in writing, as well as the ability to use legal terminology. · Ability to use the latest information-technical means of legislative changes and other innovations and materials implemented in the field of law. · Ability to provide written and oral information to both lawyers and non-lawyers related to legal documentation and any legal issues.

    Responsibility and autonomy

    · The ability to deepen the acquired knowledge, raise qualifications and professional development. · Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest scientific legal literature, legislative changes, practice and electronic libraries (for example, HeinOnline); · Within the framework of continuous legal education, the ability to determine the need to take appropriate certificate courses and continue studying at the next level - Master's degree; · Ability to constantly update knowledge. · Realized principles, basic human rights and freedoms necessary for the formation of a legal state. · Ability to promote the implementation of human rights and strive for justice to establish the principle of proportionality and good faith; · Realized the ethics of professional activity; · Realized social and democratic values learned in the course of professional activity.
