Program permission: Students are enrolled in the program based on the results of the Unified National Exams or in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia No. 224/N (December 29, 2011), administrative registration and the order of the Rector. The minimum English language proficiency is set at 93%.
Program goals:

The goal of the program is to provide graduates with holistic knowledge encompassing technological, social, and humanities disciplines, as well as to develop creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial competencies that will enable them to:

  • adapt effectively to rapidly changing environments, successfully navigate contemporary challenges, and achieve personal and professional self-realization;
  • continuously develop and recalibrate their knowledge and skills throughout their lifetime in accordance with emerging challenges and labour market demands;
  • generate, develop, and implement startup ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives;
  • demonstrate creative and innovative approaches and act as initiators and agents of change.

Learning outcomes:
Knowledge and understanding
    • Explains important events in world history, literature, art and culture and their impact on modern society;
    • Explains the fundamental principles of economics, management and business, as well as micro- and macroeconomic processes;
    • Analyzes the theories and practical applications of law, human rights and political systems;
    • Explains the importance of the basic theoretical principles of mathematics, physics and chemistry in real situations;
    • Explains the basics of molecular biology, biochemistry and microbiology and the importance of their application in modern science;
    • Explains the principles of using programming languages ​​(C++, Python) and data structures to solve technical problems;
    • Analyzes the principles of social psychology, cultural anthropology and political sociology, which contribute to a better understanding of social relations;
    • Explains the mechanisms of engineering, optimization and electronic systems for their practical application;
    • Names and explains the nature and essence of the Georgian literary language; its defining historical, social and cultural conditions;
    • Names and explains the issues of periodization of the Georgian literary language; the history of language normalization, methods and principles of establishing norms.

  • Skills
    • Uses rhetoric, critical thinking, and oratorical techniques for public speaking and academic communication; 
    • Performs software coding, operating systems management, and data analysis, which provides the development of technical skills.
    • Develops laboratory research skills, including in the areas of microbiology, biochemistry, and organic chemistry.
    • Apply mathematical and statistical methods to economic and technological problems.
    • Uses practical knowledge of engineering and biotechnology to develop innovative projects.
    • Develops the skills of analyzing social change and evaluating political processes, which contributes to the understanding of social and political events.
    • Develops the skills of cultural, scientific, and academic research, which allows for interdisciplinary approaches to solving complex problems.
    • Processes and analyzes papers and terms written in different scientific languages/styles, independently researches the necessary material/information.

  • Responsibility and autonomy
    • Demonstrate adherence to ethical standards and principles in the decision-making process;
    • Independently identify and pursue their professional interests, recognize the characteristics and requirements of the learning process, and determine the need for continuing education at the subsequent level of study.

    Teaching Process Characteristics:

    The program consists of 120 ECTS credits of core subjects and elective modules (60 ECTS). Elective modules are presented in three directions:

    • Social-humanitarian;
    • Technological;
    • Sciences.

    The student chooses one of the modules from the three elective directions and completes 60 ECTS credit courses within its framework.
