Program permission: | Enrollment of students at the second level of academic higher education (master's programs) is carried out on the basis of the results of common master's exams or in accordance with the order No. 224/N (December 29, 2011) of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, successfully passing the English language (written) and specialty (oral) exams, on the basis of administrative registration and the order of the presidents. |
Program goals: | The purpose of the program is to give the student profound knowledge and experience for research and development in the field of information technology. Information technology courses include computer systems and networks, web and network programming, databases (Oracle Certificate), mobile applications, ERP
systems and logical-probabilistic methods in information technologies. Various elective courses will enable the student to enhance their communication ability, acquire profound knowledge and the skills to make research-based conclusions to resolve the issue, in order to successfully cope with problems in the field of modern information technology that require deep knowledge of principles and processes. Graduates will be able to find employment in research institutions, banks, insurance companies, private and public organizations as IT managers, web administrators, network administrators, or database administrators.

Program details: | In the master's program, the educational process takes place from 19:00 to 21:15, of which the duration of the classroom load is 120 minutes, the break is 15 minutes. The maximum number of graduate students in groups is determined by 20-25 students. The components of the master's programs consist of elements calculated over 19 weeks. |
Teaching Process Characteristics: | 120 credits of the program consist of: In the main part of the program, the student is obliged to complete a master's thesis (30 ECTS), for which the student is registered after accumulating 90 credits (48 credits from the main block and 42 credits from the optional block). The total number of elective subjects is 198 ECTS, from which the student chooses 42 ECTS. |
